How to
install Real Player |

Get free Real Player..
Click the connection to "Real Player 8 Basic", located in the middle of the
screen. This one is for free, "Real player plus", which is widely promoted, has
to be bought. When we find and click on "Real player 8 basic", we open window
and in it we are asked about our E-mail address, country we are from and our type of
computer. We enter every information we are asked for and then under article 5 confirm, if
we want to be informed about all fine and expensive new releases and then select
"Download FREE Real player 8 Basic." In next window they want to know, what kind
of extra software equipment we want with the player. To check out our video clips you
don’t need any, so we suggest for you to select "Real player 8 Basic minimum"
button (right from "Recommended" field).
After you selected "Download FREE Real player now" you will find yourself
possible locations and from them you may download our Real player. You can select any one,
they are all reasonably fast. Majority goes for first one, what is generally a good move.
From here on everything is easier. When we are asked from our browser where we want to
save this file, we select location and try to remember it. When download process is over,
we launch Windows explorer, we find installation file we saved and with double click start
the installation process.
First we click "Next", then with "Accept" field accept license
agreement, with "Next" we confirm saving directory. Basically we click on
"Next" or "Continue" and everything will be fine.
When the software is loaded we are offered an option "Personalize your
RealPlayer". If we go for "Cancel", we will be annoyed with the same
question each time we launch RealPlayer until all fill-in fields are filled and
"Next" button is selected. It is your call. We have to input E-mail address,
country of origin, postal number and that is about it. But you have to be careful about
small but important mark in window called "E-mail me about product news, updates and
offers". There is no point writing about its meaning. On your wish you can leave it.
After you pressed "Next" there is a questions window and there we have to state
our internet connection. Here is a good spot to be honest. Because there is no
"Single ISDN" we can go for example "56K modem" or select closest
stated connection to our reality. After pressing "Next" program offers diverse
subscription channels. Here we select "Next" and again we are annoyed with odd
news and related options. We again click "Next" and we have to submit us to more
bugging with their help and proposals. Then we click "Next" and there is new
window. What they want now? This window now is important. It has to be left intact. Here
are dialog settings between player and server. Letting it be is a good move. After we
clicked the last "Next" we enter last window. We need only to select
"Finish" and Real Player 8 will present itself to us with nice animation and
music. If you reached this stage you can say that you have installed RealPlayer. Due to
the reason that boys from RealNetworks are always inventing something new it is possible
that your Player will inform you about new Player releases or that it needs something.
Don’t panic. Real Player is equipped with automatic update. You only have to connect
your computer to internet and Player will then update itself automatically. You will be
left wit a feeling of getting something new and better for free.
